Herlufsholm Skole is a boys & girls boarding school and mixed day school with an International Baccalaureate department. The language of instruction in the IB-department is English & Danish. Herlufsholm aims to provide a Danish framework, encompassing Christian and democratic ideals, in a historic setting, for the optimal preparation of young people - irrespective of background and financial means - for their adult lives. It remains a boarding school rich in tradition, but it is also a modern, internationally oriented institution. Situated in Kent, just 35 minutes south-east of London, Rochester Independent College (RIC) is an alternative to conventional secondary education, and provides day programs (ages 11+) and boarding programs (ages 16+) to students from the U.K. and international students. About 65 of the College's 280 students are boarders.The College has an atmosphere closer to university than school. Kent College Preparatory School & Kent College Pembury is a leading independent girls' boarding and day school with a Senior School (ages 11-18) and Prep School (ages 3-11) sharing the same site in Kent, in the south-east of England. The Senior curriculum is planned with due regard to the Key Stage 3 (KS3) National Curriculum, although we provide a greater variety of subjects. Students in Years 10 and 11 are usually aged 14 to 16 and follow the two-year GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) course with public examinations at the end of Year 11. In Sixth Form, students can choose from a variety of A-level options.
