 St Brelades College in Jersey
St Brelade’s College is located on the island of
Jersey in the Channel Islands, UK. The Channel
Islands are located approximately 80 miles south
of England, and 20 miles off the French coast. The college is open throughout the year
and provides tuition in small groups, host
family (homestay) or hotel accommodation and a
weekly programme of excursions and social
activities. Outside the summer months, there are
rarely more than fifty adult students, attending
short courses of group or individual tuition or
longer courses leading to Cambridge
examinations. Founded in 1978, St Brelade’s College is
accredited by the British Council and is a
member of ARELS - the Association of Recognised

My name is Toby Wilks and I am a Cambridge trained and qualified English language teacher who has been teaching English language to students from a huge variety of countries, for around ten years now. I have taught in places such as Spain, Poland, Indonesia, London, and of course Bournemouth and Southampton.
I like to conduct my lessons in a friendly and relaxed manner, focusing on whichever skill(s)
you feel that you need to practise. English
lessons are available in Bournemouth,
Southampton, and the New Forest Area (Lymington,
New Milton, Brockenhurst).
The first lesson is
completely free of charge, and is a chance for you and I to get to know each
other. This is when I can find out which level you are, and we can discuss
what you would mainly like to focus on during your lessons. There is no
pressure on you whatsoever to continue with the lessons after this if you
don't want to.
