Marbella Design Academy:
Marbella Design Academy is a leading international Academy in the South of Spain, offering university-level programmes of higher learning in Art & Design disciplines teaching entirely in English.

Founded in 1995, we are located in Monda, only 15km from the jet set town of Marbella on the Costa del Sol in the South of Spain. Our students come from all over the world, and can obtain grants from their home countries to study at the Academy.

We offer 3-year Bachelor Degree (BA Hons) programmes in Interior Architecture, Graphic Design & Fashion Design. The BA degree titles students are awarded after graduation from the Marbella Design Academy are awarded by the University of Bedfordshire, UK.

Special needs students (individuals with a physical disability) are also welcome to apply. Please note that Marbella Design Academy does not provide scholarships.

The Academy is located in our beautiful purpose-built facility in Monda, a charming, typically Spanish village, only 15km from Marbella, in the South of Spain. The academy is only a 3 minute walk from the town centre. Monda is surrounded by beautiful Spanish countryside and has many cosy restaurants and bars.

There are regular buses to Marbella, a picturesque, lively and cosmopolitan city famous for its nightlife, jet-set living, beautiful beaches and mountains. Public transport is also available from Monda to other nearby cities and villages. Southern Spain has the best weather in Europe with an average of more than 330 warm and sunny days a year.

Location and Facilities:

Marbella Design Academy offers a wide range of modern facilities to the students. ADSL Internet connection is available in every classroom. The Academy helps and supports non-European students with their paperwork to obtain student visas.

Facilities for students with special needs:
As the Marbella Design Academy building has been designed according to the latest requirements for a modern Design College, it fulfils all the needs of wheelchair users.

The building has smooth cement floors, lift, ramps, 1 metre wide doors and disabled toilet and car park. Students can easily move around in the building and in the connected restaurant.

Accommodation:
Students mainly live in rented apartments in Marbella or Monda, where it is very easy to rent furnished accommodation.

They are available at all price levels and most students share. It is cheaper to find accommodation in Monda (Around 400€ per month for a house with 3 to 4 rooms). Monda is only a 3 minute walk from the Academy. The Academy works with students to assist them in finding suitable accommodation. 

Living costs:
