A partner hospital in Acworth, GA is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly skilled Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for veterinary medicine and a commitment to providing exceptional care to patients in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Collaboration:
The Associate Veterinarian will serve as a leader within the clinic, fostering a supportive and respectful environment with staff and clients. They will actively contribute to the development of support staff through the Level Up clinical training program. - Comprehensive Medical Care:
Perform physical exams, diagnostic testing, surgeries, and dental procedures for a variety of animal patients. - Client Communication:
Engage with pet owners to deliver clear and compassionate communication regarding their pets’ health, treatment plans, and preventive care. - Patient Management:
Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring effective prioritization and care for all patients within the time allocated. - Community Involvement:
Work closely with community shelters and humane societies to provide veterinary services to underserved populations.
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program.
- Active license in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Georgia, or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong clinical skills in small animal medicine, surgery, and dentistry.
- Community-focused mindset with a passion for animal care and client relationships.
