Part-time Swim Instructor Position

We are an elite swim academy that provides high-quality swim instruction to our community, building confidence and developing life-saving safety skills in a student-centered environment. Our mission is to eliminate drownings in our community through educating our swimmers and parents alike.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of all students; safety is our NUMBER 1 priority.
• Love and respect students while pushing them to develop high-quality swim and safety skills.
• Follow our curriculum focusing on the needs, abilities, and comfort of each student.
• Be a dependable and reliable team player.
• Complete required training and be a continual learner.
• Maintain an energetic and enthusiastic demeanor throughout your shift.

Qualifications:

• Caring and compassionate towards children and adults.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in the water for periods of up to 5 hours.
• Great attitude and growth mindset.
• Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to at least 1 year of employment, with availability for afternoons and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to be in the water for at least 3 hours at a time.
• Must be able to be on your feet for at least 3 hours.
