RESULTS STATEMENT
The Beds Technician ensures that landscaped beds are weed and garbage free.
TACTICAL WORK
Equips backpacks, accurately mixing chemicals as needed.
Differentiates weeds versus desirable plants.
Sprays entire weed surface for areas under 4, when possible.
Hand-pulls live and dead weeds that are over 4.
Creates efficient walking and sequence strategies.
Covers up any fabric and hides drip lines with mulch.
Redistributes mulch and ensures any mulch in grass is within beds.
Cleans out dead wood and stragglers (not a full prune) of trees.
Deadheads flowers of perennials.
Blows off any decks.
Safely drives truck.
Promptly enters correct information into Aspire.
Collects and properly disposes of trash from job site.
Exhibits willingness to work on any company crew using assigned equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older.
Legal, valid, unrestricted, driver's license.
Ability to work through the end of October is strongly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS
Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling.
Lifting and raising objects up to 55 pounds.
Fingering, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion.
Talking and hearing.
