NCSG Hauling & Rigging Bonnyville is currently looking to grow our existing team and are seeking a
Dispatcher to join our local branch on a full-time permanent basis. The Dispatcher is an integral member of the transportation team who is responsible for coordinating the delivery of specialized hauling services. The Dispatcher will ensure that precise, professional, and accurate information is conveyed between the dispatch office and field operations to guarantee support, equipment and personnel are available to meet our clients’ requirements and to assist the company in the attainment of goals related to Transportation Safety.
Why Join Our Team?Positive and safe work environmentStrong company culture and Core ValuesCompetitive wagesThe opportunity to play a key role in branch/site operations with a highly engaged teamA dynamic work environmentOpportunities for growth and development for all stages of your careerYour success will be defined by your ability to:Coordinate personnel and equipment for designated projects.Coordinate Permits and Line Lifts for Alberta, BC and Sask.Coordinate driver movements, direct drivers, distribute routing, schedule drivers to handle loads, monitor required documentation, cross-reference tickets and driver time cards, ensure billing practices are followed and meet customer service requirements.Update driver schedules in a timely manner.Maintain PO’s, service requests, permits etc.Ensure that all personnel maintain a “safety comes first” philosophy and supporting a strong safety culture within NCSG.Answer and direct calls during regular business hours as well as after hours.Ensure that all jobs are conducted within company and government policies and regulations.Ensure that all personnel have the required safety courses and certifications.Assist with safety orientations and coordinate training for all new and existing personnel.Liaise with the HS&E and Training division to continually enhance the transportation safety and compliance systems.Maintain the document management processes necessary for ensuring record keeping compliance.Assist with administration as required.Complete special projects as assigned.Qualifications:Familiarity with oilfield hauling equipment along with a proven track record of client relations.Understanding of dispatch functions an asset.Additional certification or training relating to position an asset.Highly organized and able to handle a full workload while having strong attention to detail.Cooperative and professional ability to assist others.Good communication and coordination with supervisory, field and area personnel.Understanding of accurate paperwork importance.Basic computer knowledge, proficient with Microsoft Word/Office and Excel.Being able to solve minor problems and address concerns while having little or no supervision.Must have reliable transportation.Company Overview: With approximately 400 employees in 10 branch locations throughout Western Canada, NCSG provides crane and heavy haul services to various industries such as refining, upgrading, upstream oil & gas, utilities, forestry, mining and wind energy.
