About the Role: All candidates for the Interior Designer position must have a strong design aesthetic, be organized, and have at least 3-5 years of experience in luxury kitchen and/or bath design, or similar experience. Candidates will be part of a small team of estimators, designers, architects, and contractors that will challenge you, inspire you, and guide you to do your best work.

The position requires a positive attitude, a collaborative mindset, great written and oral communication skills, and a consistent work ethic that mirrors the influx of new and current projects.

Responsibilities:

Ownership of 5-10 high-end projects at a time for high-profile clients.

Lead the design direction and implementation for projects including leading client meetings, scheduling project-related vendor meetings, making material selections, conducting site-measurements, and keeping meeting documentation.

Collaborate with the team during the project delivery process to generate construction documents including floor plans, electrical plans, and interior elevations in AutoCAD.

A current and in-depth knowledge of current design trends, industry standards/best practices, and provide knowledge of custom cabinetry and luxury design.

Create inspiration and material boards.

Generate 3D models and photorealistic renderings.

Responsible for making purchase orders, compiling vendor quotes, and assembling this information in builder software.

Create and send allowance recaps to clients to secure signoff and order placement.

Schedule and stage professional photography sessions.

Candidate Requirements:

Candidates must have a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field or extensive experience at residential interior design firm(s).

Travel:
Candidates must be willing to travel around the Charlotte Metro Area to meet with clients and provide their own transportation.

Must be proficient in Auto-CAD, Adobe Photoshop, Sketch

UP, and Microsoft Suite. Experience with 2020 Design is preferred.
