We are hiring an experienced Warehouse Coordinator with expertise in overseeing warehouse operations and managing company vehicle inspections. The role involves maintaining efficient warehouse processes, ensuring timely and accurate goods movement. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, leadership qualities, and effective communication abilities across departments. Proficiency in warehouse material organization, inventory control, and knowledge of health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards, is essential.
Preferred candidates will also possess expertise in fleet management, scheduling maintenance, and documenting vehicle-related activities. A valid driver's license is required, as the role may involve driving a delivery truck and lifting loads up to 70 lbs.
Warehouse and Inventory Management:
- Inventory Control:
Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, monitor inventory levels, and implement effective strategies for inventory management. - Order Fulfillment:
Coordinate and oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of orders to meet customer demands efficiently. - Maintain and use propane 5k lb forklifts in a warehouse setting and the ability to load and unload semis with a forklift.
- Facility Maintenance:
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility, implementing safety protocols, and maintaining a secure and orderly work environment. - Inventory Audits:
Conduct regular audits of inventory to prevent discrepancies and ensure accurate record-keeping. - Security Measures:
Follow security measures for the warehouse and stored equipment to safeguard company assets. - Streamlined Inventory System:
Implement a streamlined inventory system to monitor and manage supplies efficiently.
- Coordinate Repairs:
Work closely with maintenance and repair teams to address any issues identified during inspections promptly. - Key Management System:
Support key management system for all company vehicles to ensure secure and organized access.
- Safety Policies and Procedures:
Maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. - Inspections and Audits:
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions. - Procedures for Equipment Repairs:
Follow procedures for handling equipment repairs or breakdowns promptly and efficiently. - Security Measures:
Comply with security measures for the warehouse and stored equipment.
High school diploma or GED required.
Knowledge andExperience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of warehousing experience and demonstrate a broad knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards. Candidates must have experience with safe operations of forklifts, propane tank hook up/storage/use. Forklift certifications are a plus.
Other Requirements:- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Comprehensive construction materials knowledge and ability to load, unload, and deliver such.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and environmental compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively train, influence, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems or related software is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds periodically. Able to bend, reach, twist, pull, and push without limitations.
