As a full-time Store Manager, you are passionate about serving your community by providing the best shoe store experience for the whole family. You do this by challenging yourself and leading your store team to meet and exceed Talent, Culture, and Operational responsibilities of your role. You are a people leader, taking pride in your leadership and ability to motivate a team to achieve sales targets and growth goals.

Through personal demonstration, training, and development, you create an in-store culture where customers say, “I’ll take it” and are loyal to your store, our brands, and our company. You are enthusiastic about the product and presentation of your store, staying up to date on trends, and educate your team to do the same. Most importantly, you LOVE shoes, and regardless of your style, you help every person who enters your store experience a little bit of that Famous Feeling.

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Has 1-5 years of retail store management experience, specialty retail preferred.
• Builds constructive and effective relationships within store teams.
• Demonstrates an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals.
• Displays an ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store Associates at all levels.
• Exhibits ability to train, coach and develop Associates.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion, partnering with Territory Sales Manager as needed.
• Displays cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.
• Demonstrates expertise and proven ability to lead general retail practices and procedures.
• Can work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
• Has basic computer skills.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
