You will play an essential role in providing warm and friendly hospitality to all our guests.
Glacier National Park sees over 3 million annual visitors and encompasses just over 1 million acres of largely wilderness area and is known for its seemingly endless acres of rugged and breathtaking landscapes. Glacier National Park was established in 1910 and stands today as a monument to wild natural places. As part of the Crown of the Continent ecosystem, the park includes 175 named mountains, 762 lakes (131 named lakes), 200+ named waterfalls and 26 named glaciers, as well as 1,000 plant species, and hundreds of animal species.
Employees can explore the park’s 745 miles of hiking trails, take a bus tour on Going-to-the-Sun Road, or kayak in clear lakes.
The Details:
- Seasonal positions start immediately and extend through mid- to late-September 2023 (dates depend on Location)
- Pay Rate: $15.75/hour
- Schedule Varies:

- Perform routine maintenance repairs and tasks on historical buildings.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
- Provide, with Professional Demeanor, excellent customer service to our guests and staff.
- Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Must have general maintenance skills necessary for repairs and preservation of our historic buildings.
- Possess a keen eye for details and problem solving.
- Possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Some locations within Glacier National Park may require Maintenance Associates to have a valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to walk distances over uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 70 pounds.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, materials, and equipment throughout the day.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, and crawl for extended periods of time.
- Working safely with required chemicals, tools, and equipment.
