Hiring Amazing Talents for Full time/ permanent roles in San Francisco, CA IIMaxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for an Audio Engineer.
Job Description:
Job Title: Audio Engineer
Work Schedule: Onsite
Salary: $150k to $160k per year
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for interacting with customer engineering windows, Review DFM reports and tooling designs with customer AE/ME/PD and process engineers.
- Coordination and management of the NPI new case development project process, and mobilization of relevant resources to meet project needs.
- Coordinate and monitor feedback from our internal project team, make sure all relevant resources are assigned to meet project needs.
- Able to lead meetings with customers regarding the technical aspects of the projects and consolidate the information and requests for our R&D team to follow up.
- Coordinate the work progress of our engineering, production and tooling teams to deliver on customer requirements.
- Can quickly respond to customer needs, strong sense of engineering, adapt to high-intensity, fast-paced working environment.
- Make sure to be available for urgent, critical communication that can take place outside regular office hours.
- Customer communication and information transmission, risk identification and control, report on project progress, problem points and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in consumer electronics or related fields (e.g. medical equipment) and bring products from conception to production.
- Familiar with Injection Molding and Sheet Metal Stamping process, able to understand challenges and work with our team or customer’s team to make sure corrective actions are implemented.
- Knowledge of GD&T, SPC, FMEA, PQC and materials (especially for plastic and metals).
- Able to coordinate multiple projects and interact with multiple design or support teams.
- Good professional ethics, able to create long-term partnerships with individuals inside and outside of the company.
- Able to travel for business both internationally and domestically for extended periods of time as needed.
- Interest in moving towards (or experience in) a direct client interaction/support role.
- Great communicator and fluent in English.
- PLUS for fluency in Mandarin.
- Previous experience working with acoustic design engineers and understanding acoustic design parameters.
