What You Need to Know The Senior Cyber Security Engineer role designs, implements, and manages technical cybersecurity controls and countermeasures with a goal of preventing, detecting, and eliminating security threats and risk to the organization. Candidate must be able to build working relationships and drive change with various levels of staff on an enterprise scale. Engineering and implementation of new security technologies and solutions
Identify and remediate security risks, threats, misconfigurations and vulnerabilities of existing networks, systems, and applications
Responding to analyst escalations and security incidents

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Security preferred 8+ years of Information Technology experience with 3+ years in an Information Security focused role
Experience with security standards and frameworks such as HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, etcCISSP certification (preferred)
Strong knowledge of security technologies such as Email Gateways, Secure Web Gateways, EDR solutions, and Vulnerability Management Platforms Deep understanding of computer intrusion activities, incident, response techniques, tools, and procedures
Thorough knowledge of digital forensics methodology as well as security architecture, system administration, and networking (including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP)
