ResponsibilitiesModern Technology Solutions Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an Enterprise & Mission Integration Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide Systems Engineering, Integration, & Test (SEIT) support to the United States Space Force (USSF) in support of the Operational Command and Control (C2) Acquisition Delta responsible for developing software and the supporting architecture for the organize, understand, plan, decide, direct, and monitor capabilities within the C2 Joint Capability Areas (JCAs).
The successful candidate should be a proven problem solver and self-starter who possesses initiative, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to lead and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Essential job responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Managing key integration activities that will support the delivering of system-level capabilities.
- Liaising with the Government program leadership to oversee requirements development and solutioning for future operations.
- Coordinating and managing information and integration issues across the multiple Capability Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) that are focused on delivering different capabilities across the C2 Acquisition Delta.
- Leading integration teams and working groups that identify, manage, and coordinate issues between the JCAs.
- Performing systems integration tasks as defined in Delta documents including the Enterprise Systems Engineering Plan (ESEP) and Enterprise Test and Evaluation Master Plan (E-TEMP).
- Evaluating prime contractors' plans and schedules, and identifying disconnects between programs.
- Providing technical services for program reviews and integrated schedule development/management.
- Providing technical evaluations and guidance for the development of key documents to include, but not limited to, Capability Development Documents (CDDs) and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Managing and maintaining the configuration of the definitions and criteria for the capability increments.
