Supervisor, Substation Projects will ensure that OTP substation projects are completed safely, on time, and on budget.
Some examples of those activities will include:
Project Management: Oversee all aspects of substation projects including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, resource management, and construction to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Safety Leadership: Lead safety initiatives, foster a culture of safety, and ensure compliance with safety regulations during substation construction.Construction Coordination: Coordinate construction efforts for new transmission and large distribution substation projects, manage electrical construction activities, and ensure timely completion of construction tasks.Employee Engagement: Mentor and guide direct reports, ensure team productivity and engagement, and provide necessary resources for effective job performance.Qualifications:

Educational Background: Preferably holds a 4-year undergraduate degree in engineering with substantial work experience in substation construction. A strong background in substation design is highly preferred.Technical Expertise: Experience in substation construction methods and techniques, including knowledge of transmission substations, relay protection control schemes, control house requirements, civil components, and major material requirements.Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously, apply safety rules, and understand risk mitigation from both safety and financial perspectives.Leadership and Development: Capable leader dedicated to employee development, ensuring team productivity and engagement.Offering:

The expected base compensation for this role is $97,000 - $122,000.
