Lemondrop Community Outreach for Hungry People
Lemondrop is looking to add new Volunteers to our family! Our Community Outreach is growing, as we are reaching more and more families who have been affected by Covid and job loss in our local communities. Currently we are reaching approximately 1000 people each week, and this number is only growing.
We have two shifts that we need long term committed Volunteers for:
Volunteers would be responsible for picking up Donations from a local store in the morning, sometime between the listed hours, and immediately delivering them to a specific location (or possibly split between two locations within the Tallahassee/Havana area). Volunteers will be required to pick up the Donations, sign any paperwork required, photo document their assigned donations, load Donations into their vehicle, and then deliver.

At our Farm Sanctuary, we host over 100 resident farm animals, dogs, cats, and exotic birds who have found permanent sanctuary with us and our Volunteers. They remain with us for the rest of their natural lives in a safe, comfortable environment.
At our Community Outreach, we provide food, clothing, and household items directly to more than 1000 people in need each week at our Tallahassee area distribution alone. We estimate that we reach around 150-300 people at our California location each week.
We operate in Florida, Georgia, and California (Farm Sanctuary and headquarters are located solely in Florida).
