The YMCA is seeking School Age Childcare Program Staff age 16+ to work in the Summer Power program in Woodbury with youth in grades K-5 this Summer. Lead craft projects, gym games, outdoor activities, go on fun field trips and take the kids swimming every week! Flexible schedules Monday-Friday between 6:30am-6:00pm.
The salary for this position starts at $15.00 hourly. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part-time or full-time status.
1.Job Summary:
The School Age Child Care Program Staff is responsible for assisting with planning, leading, and implementing recreational and creative experiences for school age children in a group setting. This position will operate at a specific school age site. The incumbent provides high quality recreational experiences for school age children that focus on the YMCA core values of caring, equity, honesty, respect and responsibility.
2.Essential Functions:
This position reports to the Site Director who reports to the Program Director. The incumbent interacts regularly with children, parents, and staff members from diverse backgrounds.

First Aid certified or ability to obtain within 30 days.
