WVRC Grafton is a small but growing clinic with great team atmosphere!

We have three hospital locations:
Waukesha, Racine, and Grafton all dedicated to providing patients, clients, and referring veterinarians the highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care. WVRC offers a warm, friendly atmosphere where our main goal is to provide compassionate care to our patients and clients as well as offering outstanding customer service.

The Veterinary Technician Assistant provides key support to the technician and veterinarian staff. Must be friendly, professional, and courteous, and capable of handling several tasks at once with frequent interruptions. Must be able to take direction from multiple staff members while adhering to training standards.

We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team on 3rd shift. Days of the week will rotate based on hospital needs. This includes rotating weekends.

Essential Functions:

Multi-tasking and attention to detail skills are required. Must have the ability to stand for the majority of the work period and enough stamina to work past the regularly scheduled shifts, if needed.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Restraining of patients
  • Cleaning Kennels, Floors, etc.
  • Stocking the treatment areas
  • Laundry
  • Taking patients outside
  • Feeding patients

  • Positive outlook, a passion for providing the highest quality in patient care and the ability to deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications:

  • Must have worked or volunteered working with dogs and cats at a clinic, Humane Society, Kennel, or similar
