Pest Control Specialist Job Description
The Pest Control Specialist is responsible for the prevention, identification, and control of pests in commercial and residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pest biology and behavior, as well as the ability to use a variety of pest control methods.
**
- Inspect properties for signs of pests, such as rodents, insects, and other vermin
- Set traps and baits to capture and kill pests
- Apply pesticides and other chemicals to control pests
- Educate clients about pest prevention and control measures
- Maintain records of pest control activities
**
- Bachelors degree in pest control or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in the pest control industry
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
