Environmental Services Tech

We are seeking a full-time Environmental Services Tech to join our team in Janesville, WI (53546). The position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm with the ability to occasionally flex hours. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of maintenance/environmental services experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass multiple background checks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections
• Respond to work orders promptly
• Contact vendors as needed and maintain a log of all calls and dates of service
• Maintain all required maintenance department equipment and tools in working order
• Establish and maintain an inventory of all department equipment and tools
• Maintain cleanliness of floors and restrooms in common areas
• Perform trash removal in designated areas
• Maintain facility and equipment by performing minor and routine painting and maintenance tasks
• Ensure mowing and grounds upkeep is performed on time
• Be available for snow removal and sanding/salting all walkways during winter
• Notify the Facility Director concerning the need for repairs or needed equipment
• Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality
• Maintain adequate supply and inventory of material and parts to perform regular daily tasks
• Contact the Facility Director for purchase orders
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other agency employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience or environmental services
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to relocate to Janesville, WI 53546 before starting work
