Job Description

University degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.

Over 5 years of experience in:

  • Oracle Database installation, administration, backup/recovery, security management, migration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) installation, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Oracle Data Guard standby database installation and configuration.
  • 24/7 On Call site support and management.
  • File system backup on tape library using Symantec Backup Exec 11d through Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).
  • Linux installation and configuration as host for Oracle products.
  • Oracle Application Server installation, administration, application (Forms & Reports) deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Application Server stress testing.
  • Site management and documentation skills.
  • Contact and communication with Oracle support.
  • Hardware, OS, and Software requirements and selection.
  • Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, and Reports Development.

    • Able to:

  • Organize and prioritize a highly varied work schedule, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work effectively under pressure within limited time constraints.
  • Work as a team player and/or individually.
  • Be creative, flexible, hard worker, and self-motivated.
