Job Responsibilities for the Mortgage Lender:- Serves as a primary residential real estate lender for the bank.
- Responsible for underwriting real estate loans.
- Responsible for periodic review of existing bank products and services as well as new product development.
- Remain current on mortgage processing, loan underwriting and maintaining real estate files and documentation.
- Provide functional support for other loan officers.
- Solicit new business by contacting prospective customers.
- Participate in overall bank management by serving on committees.
- Provide management with reports or other information as directed to inform them of activities and progress.
- Bachelor's degree in finance/business administration or equivalent work experience
- Computer and mathematical skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Experience with mortgage software preferred
