Position: Senior Product Developer (Bo+Tee) Product Development

About Oh Polly

Founded in 2015, Oh Polly is a fast-growing, social first fashion brand that creates trend driven, high quality premium products. With a focus on innovation, global responsibility, and ethics. We’ve built a combined social following of over 10 million across our brands, including Bo+Tee; our active wear line. Operating across multiple global offices, we are a dynamic team offering ambitious individuals the chance to thrive, grow, and take their careers to the next level.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Developer to join our growing team, bringing their passion for garment innovation and technical expertise to our Activewear brand Bo + Tee. This is a senior-level role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience across technical design and product development—particularly within active wear, performance wear & athleisure.

You’ll be the critical link between design and production—owning the full development process and ensuring each garment meets the brand's standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the end-to-end product development process across cut & sew, seamless, and performance wear categories—from concept through to production.
  • Lead fit sessions with Design and Buying teams, providing clear technical guidance and maintaining consistency in fit, quality, and finish.
  • Create and manage detailed tech packs, BOMs, specs, and construction sheets for global suppliers.
  • Work closely with Design to ensure the creative vision is translated seamlessly into a functional final product.
  • Liaise with offshore factories to manage development timelines, resolve technical issues, and uphold product quality standards.
  • Oversee sample development and prototypes—providing feedback, tracking iterations, and signing off on pre-production samples.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage new suppliers as needed, with a focus on innovation, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Drive fabric and trim R&D aligned with brand DNA, ensuring functional and aesthetic excellence.
  • Partner with QA and Production teams to ensure all garments meet internal standards for fit, performance, and compliance.
  • Stay on top of performance wear innovations—bringing fresh ideas in materials, construction, and technology to the team.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in product development or technical design, ideally in active wear or sportswear.
  • Must be open to frequent international travel throughout the year to visit and work closely with our overseas factories.
  • Strong technical understanding of garment construction, fit, and pattern cutting.
  • Experience working with seamless technology is a strong advantage.
  • Confident managing global suppliers, particularly across Asia.
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and PLM systems.
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills.
  • Detail-obsessed, highly organised, and used to working in fast-paced environments.
  • A problem-solver with a proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for performance wear.

What's on offer?

  • Salary: £65,000 – £70,000
  • 50% discount on all Oh Polly and Bo+Tee products
  • An extra day off for your birthday
  • Corporate gym membership (subject to tax)
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Learning and development opportunities
  • Company pension
  • Company social event.
