The QTI Group has partnered with a nonprofit organization that uses data and research to improve our social systems and puts diversity, equity, and inclusion first. They are seeking a Temporary HR Administrative Assistant to join their team. In this role you’ll serve as the face of the organization while assisting with a wide variety of tasks such as coordinating meetings, executing onboarding and offboarding, and providing general support to the HR team.

This temporary role will start mid-April and go through September, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with flexibility on start and end times. The pay is $22.00/hr.+ based on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Primary point of contact for visitors, packages, deliveries, and employee questions.
  • Answer and direct phone calls as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timely HR data, documentation, records, and processes.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, offboarding, and follow up with employee needs.
  • Perform filing organization.
  • Support the recruitment life cycle (this may include areas such as posting jobs, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and other support as needed).
  • Maintain accurate employee records.
  • Assist with coordination of meetings, events, and celebrations.
  • Organize workspace and supplies.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school Diploma/GED.
  • 1+ years of experience as an HR/Administrative Assistant required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Desire to help others.
  • Passionate/driven person with a great attitude is key.
  • Ability to anticipate, respond to change, and collaborate with others in project work.
  • Strong MS Office skills including MS Word, Excel, SharePoint required.
  • 1+ years of ADP experience required.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
