Accounting Manager

This role has high visibility and reports into ownership. It will work with their CPA firm occasionally as well. This role will be broad in nature and is working for a very well-established family-owned company.

Full job description

Local family business in need of an in-house accountant with accounting training and experience. Maintain product inventory and pricing by accurately processing customer sales invoices, bill of ladings, and vendor invoices. Maintain A/P and A/R cycle. Prepare and file monthly sales tax and fuel tax returns. Perform month-end financial close activities including account reconciliation, journal entries, bank reconciliation, and inventory management.

Prepare and maintain account and financial records/reports/invoices accurately and timely. Provide outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and by email. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Accounting experience or associate degree in accounting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and workload effectively and utilize excellent time management skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills along with exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
