Job Summary

Plans and schedules for day-to-day operation of the Horticultural Department.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Apply general and accepted practices for pruning, fertilizing, disease/fungus control, and maintenance of residential and commercial properties.
• Work and oversee up to 2 crew members.
• Responsible for paperwork, documentation, photographs, client recommendations, and scheduling site visits.
• Perform estimates and sales to clients.
• Assist in Landscape Department as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of experience in landscape maintenance and horticulture or related field.
• Skilled in proper pruning techniques and general garden bed maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs.
• Proper use of both organic and chemical treatment for disease and insect control.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid DOT Health Card or the ability to obtain one.
• Pesticide and/or MCLP licenses a plus.
