Job Summary
Plans and schedule for day-to-day operation of the Horticultural Department.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Apply general and accepted practices for pruning, fertilizing disease/fungus control and maintenance of residential and commercial properties
• To work and oversee up to 2 crew members
• Responsible for paperwork, documentation, photographs, client recommendations and scheduling site visits
• Perform estimates and sales to clients
• Assist in Landscape Department as needed

Qualifications And Skills

• 5+ year experience in landscape maintenance and horticulture or related field
• Skilled in proper pruning techniques and general garden bed maintenance
• Strong knowledge of annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs
• Proper use of both organic and chemical treatment for disease and insect control
• Valid driver's license
• Valid DOT Health Card or the ability to obtain one
• Pesticide and/or MCLP licenses a plus
