Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures (e.g. preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, camera set-ups and acquisition parameters, computer analysis of scan information, etc.). Assists the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor in maintaining Personnel dosimetry records; orders radiopharmaceuticals and associated materials from appropriate suppliers. Develops and demonstrates knowledge of current developments in field to maintain competency in nuclear medicine procedures and related areas.
State of Ohio license in Nuclear Medicine;
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (N) registered and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board registered; graduate of an approved school of nuclear medicine technology;
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB);
