Your New Company Our client is part of the largest multinational group operating in the utilities sector, characterised by a global presence and a revenue of several billion. The company is involved in a global plan for the innovation of electrical grids, with a strong focus on sustainability and zero-emission solutions.

The Digital Solutions BU is the protagonist of this technical revolution plan and is currently the driving force behind the design and implementation of all new solutions.

The main projects regard Data Intelligence and Cloud, Remote Control and Automation, Fraud Detection, and Cybersecurity products.

The company is currently expanding its workforce in its headquarters in Italy and has branches in Spain, Brazil, India, and the United States.

Your New Role Within the Digital Solutions BU, composed of about forty employees, we are looking for a Data Engineer reporting directly to the Data Lead.

The candidate will be in charge of defining the data architecture comprehensively, including designing the databases/DWH/data lake, ETL/pipeline development and monitoring activities.

The applicant will be involved in the redesign of all Data Products, with the goal of ensuring Data Quality & Governance and supporting the company towards an increasingly scalable and modular solutions.

What You Need to Succeed We require at least two/three years of experience in similar roles along with a good academic background.

We’re looking for development skills with Python (or Java/Scala) and proficiency in pipeline design and workflow orchestration (ETL, Kafka/Kinesis, Airflow), Data Modelling (Database, DWH, data lakes), Data Quality/Governance and Cloud (AWS, Azure).Excellent communication skills will be necessary, as well as a good level of English.
