• Current Athletic Trainer license in good standing within the state of practice.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Board Certification as an Athletic Trainer.
• Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited Athletic Training program.
• Minimum of 6 months of recent experience (within the last 12 months) as an Athletic Trainer working in the athletic events and programs setting. Clinic experience is not required.
• Responsibilities include:
  
  pre and post game care, assessing injuries during the event, taping, icing, general first aid, and emergency response following established protocols.
• Responsible for documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, adherence to evidence based practices, and demonstration of strong critical thinking skills.
