Position Type: Per diem, every other weekend, Non-Exempt

Schedule: PM shift (4:00 pm - 8:00 pm), required every other weekend rotation (Saturday & Sunday)

We are currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our team and help create a dining experience that nurtures both body and soul.

As a Dietary Aide, you'll be responsible for:

• Assisting in meal service and maintaining hospitality standards within the Nursing dining areas.
• Helping residents with menu selections, tray assembly, timely meal delivery, serving meals, and managing special requests.
• Working as part of a team to ensure high service standards and contributing to the training of other aides.
• Modeling the organization’s values.

What You Will Do:

• Set tables and maintain work stations in proper order and cleanliness.
• Correctly and efficiently serve meals, take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
• Plate according to residents' meal ticket and be familiar with residents’ therapeutic diets and personal food preferences.
• Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service. Wash and distribute clean dishes.
• Maintain safe and sanitary conditions in work areas and satellite kitchens, including the proper removal and disposal of all garbage and waste.
• Complete all necessary logs and quality assurance checklists as specified.
• Follow the guidance of the Dietary Manager and Hospitality Director and complete any additional tasks when requested.

What You Will Bring:

• Required minimum of 1-3 years experience working in hospitality service.
• Required minimum of 1 year experience working at a senior living facility/health care facility.
• High School or GED.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Front of house service skills.
• Teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic and hospitality minded.
• Pride in a job well done and value in helping others.
