About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Belonging and Workforce Development to lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive inclusion, diversity, and equity (&E) strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising senior leaders on promoting opportunities and addressing inequities within the healthcare system. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in advancing &E, strong business acumen, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally.
The Vice President will work closely with HR and other key stakeholders to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development, with a focus on fostering a culture of belonging. Additionally, the role involves leading workforce development initiatives to ensure a diverse and skilled workforce that reflects the community served. Applicants for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in &E or a related field.
Experience in health equity is desired. The role demands a leader with strong communication skills, the ability to influence without direct authority, and a demonstrated commitment to the values of inclusion, diversity, and equity. The Vice President will be expected to establish and track progress toward strategic objectives, as well as to develop and manage a budget for &E initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a background in leading multiple project-based initiatives and a proven ability to drive cultural change within a complex organization.
