Position: *Urgent Civil Estimator Need*

An excavating firm focused on both residential and commercial projects is seeking a new Senior Estimator to support its expansion. The scope of work includes site preparation, land clearing, municipal sewer and water connections, residential construction, lot clearing, and driveway installation. Esteemed by both employees and clients, this family-run business delivers substantial results and undertakes significant projects.

This is an amazing opportunity for candidates who love crunching numbers and have a knack for estimating.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Prepare timely and accurate estimates for projects
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information
  • Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare estimates
  • Develop relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and pricing

    Essential Job Functions:
  • 5 years of experience in estimating
  • Strong background in site development
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively
