Full Job Description:
Swanson Family Construction is seeking a dedicated Carpenter/Framer with 2 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in framing, carpentry, and general construction, with a passion for building quality homes and structures. As a Carpenter/Framer, you will play a key role in constructing and renovating residential properties, working with a skilled team to deliver top-notch craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of framing for residential projects, including walls, floors, and roof structures.Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other materials to construct frameworks and structures according to project plans.Install windows, doors, and other structural components.Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy in construction.Safely operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and framing equipment.Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and follow safety protocols.Collaborate with the project team to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.Assist with other carpentry tasks, such as installing trim, cabinetry, and exterior elements when required.Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
Minimum of 2 years of carpentry/framing experience.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Benefits:
