Senior Community Services, celebrating our 75th anniversary in serving our communities, is a leading nonprofit organization with a mission to empower people as they age. We are proud of the services we provide to older adults and their family caregivers and strive to ensure that these programs are inclusive and provided equitably to the diverse communities we serve.

The agency seeks a part-time licensed Social Worker to join its dedicated Senior Outreach & Caregiver Services team in providing quality services in the south Hennepin area. In addition to providing care coordination and supportive counseling for older adults, the program offers caregiver support groups, coaching/counseling, education sessions, and web-based tools for the caregiving family, friends, and neighbors of older adults.

• Provide social services (non-EW) to help seniors remain as independent as possible.
• Offer resources and support to family caregivers of older adults.

• Passion for the mission of Senior Community Services
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Social Work
• MN Social Work license and car required
• Two years’ experience in working with older adults preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills and basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Experience in mission-driven and nonprofit organizations preferred

Salary
: $42,500 - $44,500 annually, depending on qualifications
