Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Estate Administration Paralegal to join our firm. The role of the Estate Administration Paralegal is to assist attorneys in the administration of estates, trusts, and guardian ships, including drafting correspondence and legal documents and preparing inventories, accountings, and other probate documents; conferring with clients, beneficiaries, insurance companies, financial institutions, public officials, and court administrators; gathering information and keeping abreast of administrative changes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic; exceptional time management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent client communications and service; proficient technology skills, including, but not limited to, MS Office Suite and general online research; and meticulous attention to detail with strong proofreading skills. The paralegal must be able to work independently, handling an estate from beginning to end, collaborating with team members as needed.
Successful applicants should have three to five years of paralegal experience, preferably in Estate Administration or a combination of accounting or paralegal education and experience. Must have a NC Notary Public commission or the ability to obtain same. Salary will be based on experience.
