Nashville Veterinary Specialists in Nashville, TN is looking to add Licensed Veterinary Technicians or Assistants to our Emergency Team!
Compensation: $20 - $33/hr, based on experience. Additional shift and weekend differentials offered.
Schedule: Consistent, Three 12-hour shifts per week. Shift and weekend differentials available.
Swing: 12pm-12am
Night
Shift: 6pm – 6am

Requirements For The Role:
- Minimum of 3 years working as a veterinary technician/Assistant, preferably in emergency medicine.
- Have an understanding of all basic veterinary knowledge, including triage, disease processes, pharmacology, restraint, diagnostic imaging, phlebotomy, anesthesia, laboratory equipment and procedures, etc.
- Advanced skill set includes (preferred, not required): central line placement, abdominocentesis, thoracocentesis, feeding tube placement, urinary catheter placement
- Attention to detail, with strong communication skills with both clients and team members.
