Maintenance Technician - Lagoon Ranch RV Resort
Are you in the maintenance / landscaping field looking for a perfect role to showcase your talent and passion for outdoor hospitality? We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lagoon Ranch. Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of CRR’s resorts. They conduct site and building maintenance repairs and are responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of property grounds, facilities, streets, equipment, and various utility systems. The Maintenance Technician provides excellent customer service to prospective and current guests and assists with site setups to ensure timely arrivals and departures of resort guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Carries out routine maintenance and minor repairs to rental homes, facilities, and streets as needed.
  • Completes checklists of physical condition of resort sites prior to and after guest occupancy.
  • Warrants common area lawns are manicured appropriately. Regularly treats for weeds, weed whip, rake leaves, plant flowers/shrubs, spread mulch/woodchips/stones, trims shrubs and hedges, cuts, and removes tree limbs damaged by adverse weather conditions, and performs other lawn care services as necessary.
  • Certifies resort is presentable and inviting at all times, and that it adheres to CRR's curb appeal standards.
  • Ensures trash/debris is picked up daily from common areas and streets. Empties common area trash containers and dog runs as needed.
  • Cleans resort amenities, which may include clubhouses, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, resort offices, restrooms, laundry areas, bathhouses, and maintenance garage.
  • Reviews playground area and equipment, pool/spa area, and other recreational amenities to ensure everything is in good condition, making minor repairs as needed.
  • Confirms all resort streets and public access routes are free of hazards and rocks.
  • Sustains resort pool(s), test chemical levels, and adjust appropriately, where applicable.
  • Maintains resort vehicles and equipment.
  • Follows safety procedures while performing duties, including safely operating vehicles when moving from site to site and picking up supplies.
