Job DescriptionPosition Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Gymnastics Coach. As a Volunteer Gymnastics Coach, you will have the opportunity to work with athletes of various ages and skill levels, helping them develop their gymnastics abilities while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support gymnastics classes and training sessions for athletes ranging from 18 months-12 years old.
- Provide individualized instruction and feedback to athletes to help them improve their skills and technique.
- Ensure the safety of all athletes by following proper spotting techniques and adhering to safety guidelines.
- Motivate and inspire athletes to reach their full potential while promoting sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaches to provide progress updates and address any concerns.
- Assist in the facilitation and execution of gymnastics special events and home meets.
- Previous experience in gymnastics coaching or participation at a competitive level is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, skills, and training methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with athletes of all ages and skill levels.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with young athletes.
