ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Manages donor database, ensures accuracy and completeness, processes donations, and collaborates with the finance department for reconciliation and reporting. Conducts data entry for new and established records, along with record clean-up and restoration.
- Collaborates with the CEO to execute association capital development, annual campaign, and endowment programs. Oversees campaign budgets, manages administrative tasks, and coordinates meetings with campaign leaders.
- Organizes and compiles reports for financial reconciliation, including pledge reports, invoices, and pledge reminders. Ensures timely acknowledgment of gifts and supports special projects, including letter preparation and mailing.
- Onboards and trains volunteers to develop effective fundraising campaigns and foster volunteer involvement in fundraising activities.
- Develops and distributes regular donor newsletters to cultivate relationships, share impact stories, and provide organizational updates.
- Implements donor recognition programs to honor contributions, fostering a culture of appreciation within the organization.
- Staffs and manages special events, projects, and committees, including planning, recruitment, and sponsor solicitation. Ensures seamless execution and maximizes event impact.
- Supports the marketing team to align fundraising efforts with overall branding and messaging strategies, ensuring consistency in external communications.
- Serves as a staff liaison to the Development Committee, and other committees when such campaigns exist. Prepares and coordinates meetings, takes minutes, and ensures follow-up measures are implemented.
- Stays updated on fundraising trends and best practices, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance fundraising strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- A minimum of two years of database-related experience.
- Experience to continually improve data accuracy including standardizing data codes and designating campaigns, funds and appeals.
- Ability to manage time and work on multiple projects.
- Must be detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and integrity.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience is essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to write reports, letters and business correspondence.
