We are looking for a skilled Online Learning Platform Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining an interactive and user-friendly online learning platform. This role requires expertise in web development, UX/UI design, and integrating Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance the digital learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Maintain the Platform: Build and optimize the online learning platform, ensuring a seamless experience for students and instructors.
- LMS Integration: Implement and manage Learning Management Systems (such as Moodle, Blackboard, or custom-built solutions).
- User Experience & Interface Design: Create responsive, engaging, and accessible designs for students and educators.
- Feature Enhancements: Develop new features like quizzes, discussion forums, video streaming, and real-time interactions.
- Security & Performance: Ensure the platform is secure, fast, and scalable to handle a growing number of users.
- Bug Fixing & Technical Support: Identify and resolve issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work with content creators, instructional designers, and marketing teams to align technology with educational goals.
Position Requirements
Bachelor,
1+ Years
work experience - Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Backend development knowledge (Node.js, Python, PHP, or Ruby on Rails).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with LMS platforms (Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or custom LMS).
- Knowledge of API integrations and third-party tools like video conferencing (Zoom, WebRTC).
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in web or software development, preferably in e-learning or EdTech.
- Experience working in remote teams and using project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
