Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Shipping Clerk. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and prepares shipping orders and bills of lading to maintain shipping schedules by performing the following duties. Location:
Owatonna, MN

Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday-Friday + available overtime

What you will do:

• Verifies information regarding incoming and outgoing shipments including bills of lading, invoices, shipping orders, and other records.
• Prepares and distributes all documents required to meet shipping schedules.
• Determines appropriate carrier and methods of shipment based on product unit size, destination, and cost efficiency.
• Communicates with management, Customer Service Representatives, and other personnel regarding freight charges, status of shipments, and details related to shipping processes and schedules.
• Expedites orders.
• Maintains and updates files and order acknowledgments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree in related field.

The typical annual hourly pay for this position ranges from $18.00 - $23.00/hour in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
