Summary of Responsibilities

Responsible for general maintenance and beautification of the golf course in accordance with Jackson County policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance on mowers and other golf course related equipment.

Change tees and cup placements.

Maintain the course by performing a variety of duties such as cutting grass, daily maintenance of the irrigation system, and landscape maintenance.

Operate a variety of golf course equipment necessary to maintain the greens and fairways.

Daily maintenance of greens, tees, and seeding.

Perform general maintenance on structures including buildings, fences, bridges, and shelters.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or its equivalent is required. Formal training or one (1) year of prior experience in turf or greens-keeping is preferred.
