Shipping Coordinator II ASJ

Pick and Ship frozen and cryopreserved grafts ensuring accuracy of contents and that the correct validated shipper is used each time. Ensure accuracy of documented information that is required with each shipment. Work in accordance with AATB, FDA and ISO standards.

Monday
- Friday 9:00-5:00pm and after hours On Call schedule.

• Accurately pick and ship frozen/cryopreserved grafts that are stored in freezers that reach temperatures as low as
  -80 degrees Celsius.
• Ensure the accuracy of all shipped frozen/cryopreserved grafts.
• Able to work with Dry Ice.
• Understand the different shipping validations for the different tissue forms.
• Deliver Exceptional Service.
• Maintain the order of all Finished Goods freezers.
• Maintain all frozen shipping supplies.
• Investigate order discrepancies and create remedies/resolution to discrepancies.
• Able to work with Fed Ex/UPS equipment.
• Run QAD/Fed Ex/UPS reports.
• Able to perform all the job functions of the Shipping Coordinator I.
• Work in accordance with AATB, FDA and ISO standards.
• Perform additional job duties as assigned.
• CALIFORNIA ONLY: Receives and inspects critical and non-critical components.
• CALIFORNIA ONLY: Orders Fed Ex and UPS shipping supplies.
• CALIFORNIA ONLY: Handles reports for the Rees Alarm system.
• CALIFORNIA ONLY: Handles any other shipment and the return of hospital storage.
• CALIFORNIA ONLY: Receive, break down, and prep pallets of shipping containers.
• CALIFORNIA ONLY: Clean and defrost freezers.

High School Diploma/G.E.D.

Experience with Fed Ex/UPS shipping software.

Knowledge of the human anatomy.

Experience in Tissue Banking: 1 Year Warehouse Experience.
