Hotel Grounds Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:
The Grounds Maintenance Technician helps create a welcoming and well-kept resort environment by maintaining landscaping, walkways, and exterior public areas. This hands-on role supports the overall guest experience through consistent upkeep of the property's exterior.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine lawn care: mowing, edging, trimming, weeding, planting

Maintain irrigation systems and assist with minor plumbing repairs

Clean and maintain sidewalks, pathways, and outdoor furniture

Handle seasonal work such as snow removal, de-icing, or leaf clean-up

Conduct exterior inspections and report needed repairs (lighting, fencing, etc.)

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Skills & Requirements:

Experience with landscaping tools and equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers)

Ability to work in all weather conditions

Basic maintenance skills (painting, light repair, minor electrical or plumbing tasks)

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor

Dependable with good time management and problem-solving skills
