We are looking for a skilled and experienced Part-Time Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining and repairing a fleet of trucks, trailers, and small engines used daily in a Landscape Contractor environment. This position is crucial in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and make repairs on a fleet of trucks, trailers, zero-turn mowers, spray rigs, and other equipment.

Keep detailed records of maintenance performed and parts used.

Maintain a clean and organized Shop and Yard, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Communicate effectively with the management team regarding the status of vehicles and equipment.

Possible plowing work in the winter if interested.

Trucks are mostly Ram Trucks . Mowers are mostly Scag and Exmark.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on both truck and trailer maintenance and small engine repair.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Experience with hydraulics preferred.

Welding and light fabrication experience.

Ability to research mechanical issues on your own.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Valid driver’s license.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive or small engine repair is a plus.

Plowing experience, if interested.

Compensation:

$26 - $34 Hourly
