Job Posting:
Business Administrator – Sacred Heart Parish, Shawano

Sacred Heart Parish in Shawano, Wisconsin, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Administrator to oversee and manage the business affairs of the parish. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and relevant experience in financial management and business administration. We are open to considering both full and part-time candidates for this position, depending on their qualifications, experience, and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting and Finance:
  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll for a staff of 36 and ensure compliance with governmental reporting requirements.
  • Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records using Quick Books.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and present them to the Finance Council.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual parish budget.
  • Oversee annual parish and diocesan reporting processes.
  • Human Resources:
  • Perform HR duties, including staff onboarding and benefits coordination.
  • Support staff and volunteer management in collaboration with parish leadership.
  • Administration:
  • Collaborate with the Finance Council, Parish Council, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with parish goals and compliance with diocesan standards.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of business principles and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Handle additional duties as required to support parish operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Quick Books and financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit or church administration is a plus.
