The City of Stoughton Recreation Department is NOW HIRING Front Desk Staff for Troll Beach!

Under the general supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, Troll Beach Supervisor and Troll Beach Head Guard(s), the Front Desk Staff position at Troll Beach is responsible for greeting patrons and guests of Troll Beach in a friendly and courteous manner, and accepts payments from patrons and groups entering the facility.

This position is 25-40 hours per week. The season will consist of evenings June 2 - 6, with a soft opening for a library event on June 7th. The rest of the season is from 11:30 am - 5:30 pm on various days of the week.

This position will remain open until all openings are filled.

• Performs various front desk admissions duties, including but not limited to: greeting and assisting patrons, checking pool passes to ensure they are being utilized by authorized individuals, collecting fees for admittance, and maintaining records of patrons entering the facility.
• Operates cash register – accepts payments and makes accurate change.
• Balances daily cash against the cash register tape at the end of assigned shift.
• Assists with the cleaning of Troll Beach facility and equipment as directed.
• Attends staff meetings and participates in employee training sessions as required.
• Assists with additional responsibilities assigned by Recreation Supervisor, Troll Beach Supervisor and Troll Beach Head Guard(s).

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Experience in cash handling, including basic addition and subtraction.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize proper telephone etiquette.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with the general public and other pool staff.
