Full time Regional Medical Director - Now Hiring + Superior Salary - Richmond, Virginia area

We are looking for a full-time DVM to join our partner hospital team as a Regional Medical Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine, as well as experience in leadership and management.

The Regional Medical Director will be responsible for the overall medical care of our animals, as well as the training and development of our veterinary staff. The position will also require the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities of the Regional Medical Director include:

  • Developing and implementing medical policies and procedures
  • Overseeing the medical care of animals
  • Training and developing veterinary staff
  • Managing the budget for the medical department
  • Working with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital
  • Qualifications for the Regional Medical Director include:

  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • At least 5 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian
  • Experience in leadership and management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
