Rancho California Water District is currently seeking a well-qualified candidate to fill a Conservation and Water Budget Analyst position in the Water Use Efficiency Division. This position plays a key role in supporting the District’s water conservation efforts by analyzing customer water use data, evaluating irrigation efficiency trends, and developing targeted programs to improve indoor and outdoor water use efficiency. The candidate will utilize data-driven tools such as GIS and AMI to assess conservation opportunities, assist with compliance reporting, and support customer outreach initiatives that promote sustainable water management.
The Ideal Candidate...
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing water use patterns, evaluating irrigation efficiency trends, and supporting the development and implementation of conservation programs. They will leverage data-driven tools to identify opportunities for improving indoor and outdoor water efficiency and ensure compliance with conservation policies and regulations. Additionally, they will collaborate with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to promote sustainable water use practices and assist in the refinement of efficiency programs based on performance metrics and emerging industry trends.
Work Schedule...
All full-time employees work a 9/80 schedule.

Qualification Guidelines...
The appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities can be achieved through a variety of combinations of experience and education. A typical example is:
- 2 years of experience in data-driven water conservation programs or water budget analysis
- College degree in business, landscape architecture, horticulture or closely related field
- Ability and willingness to represent the District in a professional manner to the public and outside agencies
